Each of us will probably agree that it is better to see a clean, well-kept space in front of you than to observe a pile or even a dump of garbage. This is especially a problem in our forests and national parks, which annually attract millions of tourists from all over the country.

Today I would like to tell the guests of Elbrus about our big problem and make an important request.

This is the problem of garbage that is thrown out, either in bins located on eco-trails visited by many people (to the waterfalls of Maiden Braids and Terskol, on the way to the Narzan glade, and many other places). Unfortunately, the presence of bins in these places does not save nature from pollution, but on the contrary, worsens the situation - garbage is rarely taken out centrally, bins are overflowing, and garbage heaps are already forming nearby, poisoning the priceless unique ecosystem of Elbrus.

We appeal to all our guests with a big request - please take away, take away your garbage with you. Each person is able to deliver a small bag to specialized containers in Terskol or Tyrnyauz. And, of course, in the forest, nature in such circumstances needs your help - if you are planning a walk along an eco-trail or a similar tourist route, please take several small bags with you and collect garbage along the trail.

In the mountains and forests of the Elbrus region, almost everyone immediately feels extraordinary harmony and peace, consciousness is cleared, the pressure of megacities and daily bustle disappears. This is a gift of nature that is difficult to overestimate. Let's keep forests, eco-trails and mountains clean for ourselves and our children. It is not difficult to take care of this if every local resident and every guest maintains order and makes their small contribution to the cleanliness of the surrounding world of our beautiful region every day.
